Dr. Christoph Saatjohann successfully completed his doctorate on IT security in medical facilities. His research focused on various aspects – from the telematics infrastructure (TI), the central platform for digital applications in the German healthcare system, to IT security gaps in cardiological implants and the development of new tools and measures for detection and reaction in the event of a cyber attack.

As part of the “MedMax” tandem, a joint research project between the Münster University of Applied Sciences and the University of Münster, numerous results were published at top scientific conferences such as USENIX.
